Our clinic’s mission is to serve our community by providing personalized, high-quality medical and surgical care for dogs and cats. We strive to create a welcoming environment where each patient’s unique needs are honored and every client feels informed and supported.
Owner & Veterinarian
I am a native to Phoenix and was drawn to veterinary medicine from a young age. I graduated from ASU in 1999 with my undergraduate degree and received my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Washington State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. I have worked as a small animal veterinarian in the Phoenix and Glendale areas since 2003 and love all aspects of medicine, preventative care, and surgery.
I became the owner of Amherst Plaza Animal Clinic in September 2025 and my goal is to provide individual, empathetic, and high quality care to your dog and cat families.
I keep busy at home with my two children, two dogs, and two cats. When I have some spare time, I enjoy running, hiking, and spending time with my family and friends.

Our team is made up of dedicated veterinary professionals who share a passion for the care and treatment of our pet families. Each member of our clinic plays an important role in ensuring your pets receive attentive and compassionate medical care in a welcoming environment.
Practice Manager
Greer has been the practice manager at Amherst Plaza Animal Clinic since September 2025, and has been in veterinary medicine as a certified technician for 27 years in the Valley. She grew up in Arizona and is married with 2 daughters, 3 dogs, and a desert tortoise. In her off time she enjoys golfing and spending time with family & friends.
Veterinary Technician
Cassie has worked at Amherst Plaza Animal Clinic as a veterinary technician and receptionist since March 2025. She was born in Ohio but now calls Arizona her home with her 3 dogs and 4 cats. In her off time she enjoys playing Dungeons and Dragons, hiking, exploring AZ, and doing crafts.
Receptionist
Jacqueline has worked at Amherst Plaza Animal Clinic since 2007 as a receptionist. She has 3 children, a “menagerie” of pets, and over 200 plants she cares for at home! She spends most of her off time caring for her plants and enjoys playing video games.
